Who are FanMedia?

Fanmedia produce bespoke promotional hand fans for the entertainment, advertising and media markets. All our products are bespoke and are produced to individual specifications and orders. Our background is in design and branding. We have years of experience working with big brands to fulfil their advertising and promotional needs.

How does individual fan personalisation work?

Individual fan personalisation is possible on selected variations of our paddle and profold fans.  Once the design of the fan has been chosen we leave a standard area free to insert a name of your choice. We can match the font to the rest of the fan design making the personalisation seamless.  All you have to do is supply us with a formatted list of names and we will do the rest.

What are the bespoke fan options?

Besides colour matching, finishing and substrate options, each fan category has different qualities that you can customise. The paddle fan can be cut into any shape. The bamboo spokes on the traditional fan can be branded or painted. The pro-fold fan can be printed at any size to create a unique folding magazine insert from a flat page. Although there is an extra cost, the bespoke options are varied and work to accommodate your individual needs.

Is it cheaper if I only want one colour print on the fan?

No. The standard method of production is as a standard 4 colour process print (Cyan, Yellow, Magenta and Black). This reproduces any colour you require from a single monotone effect through to full colour, and can accurately reproduce corporate logos and photographs. We can print selected fans using single or spot colours but it will not be cheaper.

I have no idea how to design- can FanMedia design my fan?

Of course we can! We have years of experience in the design industry, and have a team of designers that can help you create any look you want! We work with you to tailor the look and design of the fan to match your needs.

Can I supply the fan design myself?

No problem. When you place your order we will advise you on the exact specifications for your fan and help you organise a grid template for that particular specification.

Can the design of my fans match my other advertising collateral?

Yes! We can either supply our grids for your designers to use, or if you provide us with layered files and fonts, we can do the artwork for you for a small charge.

What is the minimum number of fans I can order?

The minimum number of fans is 100, although the unit cost is higher in lower numbers. This is due to individual setup costs and minimum delivery charges.

Can I choose the material the fan is made from?

To an extent. We use paper, bamboo and polypropylene (a recyclable plastic) to construct the different fan variations.

Where are these fans made?

Our fans are made in Spain, China and the UK. We source our fans from reputable and established suppliers and we only buy the best quality we can.

How green is my fan?

This is up to you. All our fans can be made from 100% recycled products, and you can choose a number of different delivery methods including ship, air and road depending on your delivery speed required.

How long will it take?

Most projects take approximately 2 - 3 weeks to manufacture from approval of artwork, plus up to 10 days (air) or 35 days (ship) to deliver. Obviously this all depends on the type of fan, time of year and the quantity required. We endeavour to deliver your fans on stated timelines, although goods can occasionally be held at UK customs. This type of delay is beyond our control, and because of this we would recommend that you give yourself as much time as possible for production.

What costs am I looking at?

Design charges start at £100 upwards depending on complexity of design and work involved on the fan. For orders over 2500 units we will cover 2 hours of artwork for free.

How can I be sure of the quality I am getting?

We have over 10 years of merchandise and print production experience. We strive to produce the best quality we can for your budget. Your fan is a reflection on your brand and so the quality needs to accurately reflect this.

Can you help me distribute my fans?

Yep. We have established partnerships with branded sampling and distribution teams that can hand out your fans at events or locations throughout the UK. Just tell us when, where and how many fans you want and off we go.
